The activities of the project will consist of 3 main phases:
1.    Lab research and definition of MH materials solutions;
2.    Materials scale-up and MHCS design and engineering;
3.    Prototype demonstration and targets assessment

RTD activities

WP1 - Requirements (SMEs): objective of the first WP is the definition of the framework of the project regarding the requirements for the sorption materials, refrigerated van application and the economical aspects.

WP2 - Lab scale materials development (ENEA): objective of the work will be the fabrication, testing and characterization of sorption materials pairs, with the scope to identify the best one to be implemented in MHCS unit.

WP3 - Materials scale-up (ADM): the sorption materials selected in WP2 will be produced in amounts suitable for the 750 Wfr final prototype by ball milling.

WP4 - MHCS executive design (READER): The objective of this work package is to design the MHCS unit, from basic to detail engineering. Expected results are identification of functional groups, selection of technologies, engineering and executive design, automation and control system.

WP5 - MHCS fabrication (LABOR): The objective of this work package is to implement and fabricate the pilot prototype.

DEMO activities

WP6 - Prototype testing and assessment (COICAR): the final MHCS prototype will be assessed by “in field” tests. The performance will be compared with the project targets defined in WP1.

OTHER activities

WP7 - Exploitation, dissemination and training (SMEs): Technology transfer and training, exploitation, technology benchmark and business plan, dissemination of results in events and commercial presentations.

CONSORTIUM MANAGEMENT activities

WP8 - Consortium management (ENEA): management activities will be carried out through the entire project duration. The Coordinator of the project will follow the activities of all partners to achieve the objectives of the project. The coordination will regard also the administrative management and relation with the REA. All partners of the Consortium will be always taken informed on activities progress, sharing information and optimising the total efforts.
